Man's first major discovery was fire. Fire was used to drive away
wild animals, light up dark caves, roast raw meat and keep them warm.
Palaeolithic
people of Deccan dug up large pits and covered them with leaves to
hide them from view. Large animals got trapped and fell in them ,
thus making it easier for them to kill it.
