Uncle Ken at the Wicket.

Ans 1. Young Ruskin loved to spend his holidays with his grandmother because she was a wonderful cook and she made delicious dishes for him. Ans 2. The author and uncle Ken did not approve of each other .Uncle Ken did not like small boys. Ruskin did not like him as he did not appreciate granny's cooking. They always tried to outdo each other. Ans 3. Uncle Ken had been smoking a cigar under a silk -cotton tree without realizing that there was a bee hive above him. The fumes of the cigar disturbed the bees and they attacked him.
