Class 4 Natural resources

NATURAL RESOURCES Ans 1. The valuable things in nature that are necessary for us to live are called natural resources. They are air , water, soil, forests , animals and minerals. Ans 2. The four uses of soil are:- a) Plants grow in soil. They get water and mineral salts from the soil. b) Many animals live in the soil. c) Humans depend on the soil for growing cereals, vegetables and fruits. d) We use clay to make pots and utensils. Ans 3. For products that we get from the soil are:- wood, medicines, paper and oxygen. Ans.4.The minerals such as coal and petroleum are non renewable resources. So we should use them carefully and not waste them.
