The Southern Plateau Ans 1.A plateau is a highland which is almost flat at the top. The Southern Plateau is bordered by a) Aravali Range in the north west b) Rajmahal hills in the north east c) The eastern Ghats in the east d) The Western Ghats in the west Ans 4. The minerals found in the Southern Plateau are:- iron ore, coal and mica. Ans. 7. The rivers in the Southern plateau are fed by the rains, so if the rainfall is not good they dry up during the summer season. Ans. 8. The Malwa Plateau , the Chotanagpur Plateau and the Deccan Plateau.
